Your first official qualifying event for Showcase Australian Dance Championships 2023.
I have been involved in the dance industry here in the Burdekin for over 25 years and I am proud to bring such an event to the Burdekin Stage. Being involved with dance and competitions for so long I am confident I can deliver sections competitors are craving to preform in up here in the North. I have introduced over 100 sections, some the region has never seen before. It will run for 5 days every January, my vision is to make this an annual event. Verve Dance Festival is like no other the Burdekin has ever seen, with cheering from the audience and free entry into the auditorium. The vibe will be electric and entrants will have so much fun. This competition will give competitors another opportunity to showcase their talents up here in the North, and help bring people to the Burdekin. Being in the school holidays makes it a lot easier with competitors not having to miss school to attend. Verve Dance Festival is a family friendly competition for anyone 20 years and under. Competitors from all over North, West and Central Queensland are expected to attend. I believe competitions are a great way for entrants to showcase their talents, boost self-esteem and make life long friendships as well as further life experiences. Verve Dance Festival has volunteers who are trained ensuring the festival will be run in a professional manner combined with good country hospitality.
